SMS Terms & Privacy

Armory VB is a small SMS-based coordination tool used by a private group of recreational volleyball players to figure out, day to day, whether enough people are available to play. It is operated as a personal project; it is not a business and does not sell, market, or promote anything.

You opt in by visiting https://www.armoryvb.com/join and submitting your name and mobile number. We text you a 6-digit verification code; entering that code on the next page completes your enrollment. By submitting your number, you consent to receive SMS messages from this service.

You may also be added to the roster directly by the group's admin if you've asked to be included. In that case, you will receive a welcome SMS, and you can immediately reply STOP to opt out.

Once enrolled, you will receive:

• A daily poll the day before each game asking whether you intend to play (reply Y, N, or M for maybe), sent around noon Arizona time.
• A follow-up message confirming whether the game is on or cancelled.
• Occasional account messages, such as the verification code at signup, a welcome message after enrollment, and — if you go 30 days without responding to anything — a check-in asking whether you'd like to remain on the list.

Expected frequency is approximately 2 messages per day. No marketing, advertising, or promotional content is ever sent. No purchase is required.

Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message. Your number will be deactivated immediately and you will receive no further messages.

Your name and phone number are stored only to send you the messages described above and to display response counts on the public dashboard. Names are never displayed publicly — only aggregate counts (e.g., "12 yes, 3 no, 25 pending"). Your phone number is visible only to the group's admin.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your phone number or name to any third party for any purpose. The only third party with access to your number is Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, which receives it solely to deliver the messages described above and is bound by its own privacy policy.

If you opt out, your phone number remains in our database in an inactive state so that we don't accidentally re-add you. You can request full deletion by emailing the address below.
